1. The compatibility score 'out of 10' and final match result are crucial for assessing couple compatibility. It's essential to note that a compatibility score of 7 out of 10 may still result in a "Doesn't match" final outcome.
2. Select the boy/girl's Zodiac/Rasi and Star/Nakshatra names by long-pressing on the main screen.

Jathaka porutham (Horoscope match) is presented in an application named 'Vedic Marriage Match' that is beneficial for individuals seeking to select the right life partner through an astrological process of matching horoscopes of prospective brides and grooms. Typically, this process is carried out by an astrologer who analyzes the two horoscopes (kundali matching), aiming to ensure a harmonious, balanced, and healthy married life with a long and prosperous marital relationship.

Ten types of match ways (porutham) are considered in Vedic Marriage Match, with Rasi and Nakshatras playing a pivotal role in determining whether these ten matches align. The concept of '10 Porutham' was devised by ancient astrologers to facilitate finding the best match between a boy and a girl intending to marry. Marriage is typically recommended only when there is alignment across these aspects.

The ten matches include: Dhina, Gana, Mahendra, Sthree Dheerkam, Yoni, Rasi, Rasi athipathi, Vasiya, Rajju, and Vethai. Each match can yield one of three results: Uthamam – Matches, Mathimam – Average, Athamam - Doesn't Match.

From the ten matches listed above, it can be inferred that two horoscopes match even if only Nakshatra, Raasi, Gana, Yoni & Rajju Porutham align and not necessarily all ten matches need to coincide. Rajju signifies the Mangalya bakyam of the female. When this component does not align, marriage is discouraged as this match is regarded as most crucial.

This method of marriage matching is most suitable for arranged marriages but is not particularly recommended for those already in a love affair or relationship due to the emphasis on 'Mana Porutham' (Emotional Bondage) as essential for a happy married life.
